The Demis Story

Demis Products was founded by Cynthia and Bob Misterka in 1973, in Lithonia, GA.  Bob had extensive background in the craft industry, and with established relationships, decided to start a business of his own.  Using a deep rooted family atmosphere, they developed and nourished long standing relationships with customers of all sizes, from the small shops in New England, to industry giants.  Bob always had an open door policy for all of his employees, who felt at home away from their families.  Upon Bob’s passing in 2004, his son Brian took over as CEO and has made sure to keep that family mentality.  With the addition of Brian’s nephew, Aaron in 2012, Demis can proudly say that they are a three generation, family run business.

Since its inception, Demis has become a leader in the wood craft Industry, and we are one of the largest manufacturers of quality unfinished wood products, proudly made in the USA.
