At Demis, our slogan is “Innovation in Wood”. Woodworking technology always continues to improve and change and we work to move with it. We integrate the automation of some processes to help ensure accuracy and increase the efficiency of things such as label placement, advanced precision cutting and drilling, and wood shaping.

We partner with innovative companies who are on the forefront of manufacturing equipment to develop machinery that can enable us to provide the best price to our customer. We our dedicated to being pioneers of the woodworking industries.

In addition, we structure our skilled labor using Kaizen and Lean manufacturing process to ensure the factory is being run as effective as possible. We operate on multiple production lines with the help of over 100 skilled craftsmen.

Demis Products was founded by Cynthia and Bob Misterka in 1973, in Lithonia, GA. Bob had extensive background in the craft industry, and with established relationships, decided to start a business of his own. Using a deep rooted family atmosphere, they developed and nourished long standing relationships with customers of all sizes, from the small shops in New England, to industry giants.

Bob always had an open door policy for all of his employees, who felt at home away from their families. Upon Bob’s passing in 2004, his son Brian took over as CEO and has made sure to keep that family mentality. With the addition of Brian’s nephew, Aaron in 2012, Demis can proudly say that they are a three generation, family run business.

Since its inception, Demis has become a leader in the wood craft Industry, and we are one of the largest manufacturers of quality unfinished wood products, proudly made in the USA.

As President of Demis Products, Aaron is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the company’s strategic plan, and helping the company to reach its critical goals. He works to ensure that the needs of the customer are met by collaborating internally with the sales teams, manufacturing team, and logistics side of Demis Products, but also by working directly with customer buyers and marketing professionals. Aaron uses his engineering background to help analyze and evaluate the financial success of the organization from both a profit standpoint and a customer satisfaction standpoint.

Aaron is originally from a small town in Savannah called Thunderbolt, GA, but he tells everybody he’s from Savannah. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 in Civil Engineering with a certificate in Urban Planning and Land Development. He joined Demis in 2012 after 7 years in the construction industry. He and his wife, Emily, live in Decatur, GA with their daughter, Sidney Rose, and their English Bulldog, Maggie Mae.

Michael Canzian is the CEO of Demis Products, and is focused on driving growth and expansion both domestically and globally.  Michael is also the Managing Principal and Founder of Capital Mobility Ventures, a management consulting, corporate turnaround and private equity firm. Mr. Canzian has expertise in leading companies ranging from entrepreneurial ventures to large corporate entities in various industries and geographies in turnaround, optimization, and rapid growth modes through to exit.

Mr. Canzian has held various C-level positions in large corporations and small entrepreneurial ventures in industries ranging from aerospace, biotech, financial services, pharmaceuticals, software/technology, and industrials in both domestic and global environments. He has served on multiple boards of both corporate and non-profit organizations. Mr. Canzian has an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science degree in AT-Aeronautics from Purdue University.
